Jammu, J&K – 16 October 2026 – A significant step towards enhancing hearing care in Jammu has been taken with the inauguration of the new BestSound Center (BSC) 3.0 by Hearing Help Pvt Ltd., in association with WS Audiology (WSA). This state-of-the-art facility aims to improve access to hearing solutions for residents of Jammu and Kashmir, responding to a critical need in the community.
The launch saw WSA partner with the Suryoday Foundation to donate 150 hearing aids to 75 underprivileged individuals in the area, emphasizing their commitment to make advanced hearing care accessible to all.

Located at 17-A/D, Near District Police Lines, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu-J&K-180004, the BestSound Center represents WSA’s vision of shifting hearing care from a clinical environment to a more personal and consumer-friendly approach. This new facility follows the successful launch of a previous Best Sound Center in Bangalore earlier this year, marking WSA’s ongoing commitment to improving hearing health standards across India.
According to the World Health Organization, approximately 63 million individuals in India experience significant hearing impairment, signifying a pressing need for accessible care. In a global context, over 1.5 billion people live with hearing loss, and the number of those with disabling hearing loss could escalate to 700 million by 2050.
Despite such alarming statistics, many individuals avoid seeking treatment due to stigma, lack of awareness, prohibitive costs, and the misconception that hearing aids are a last resort.
“It is essential that access to hearing care isn’t defined by one’s location or financial capability,” stated Mr. Avinash Pawar, Managing Director and CEO of WSA India. “With the introduction of BSC 3.0, residents of Jammu & Kashmir can now access world-class care, technology, and support. Ultimately, our goal is to help individuals reconnect with their families, workplaces, and communities.”
The innovative design of the center features an interactive layout, complete with specific areas for diagnostics, counseling, product trials, and aftercare services. Patrons can browse hearing solutions at their leisure while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere, free from the pressures often associated with clinical visits. Equipped with advanced hearing evaluation tools and specialized fitting suites, the center allows clients to experience various hearing aids in realistic scenarios.

Significantly, the BestSound Center offers access to two renowned hearing aid brands: Signia and Widex. Research indicates that sound preferences are highly individualized and cannot be generalized solely based on demographics or lifestyle. While Signia’s technology focuses on clarity in noisy environments, Widex is celebrated for providing a more natural listening experience. This variety ensures that clients can find the best hearing solutions tailored to their personal needs.
“We are thrilled to launch the BestSound Center in Jammu alongside WSA,” emphasized Mr. John Zargar, Managing Director and CEO of Hearing Help Pvt Ltd. “Since our establishment in 2019, we’ve witnessed individuals from Jammu & Kashmir traveling to larger cities for essential hearing care or, regrettably, going without it. This center embodies our mission to deliver top-tier audiological expertise and transformative hearing solutions to the local community.”
The collaboration with the Suryoday Foundation allows for comprehensive outreach to those in need. The foundation identified 75 individuals struggling with hearing loss but lacking the financial resources for treatment. Professional audiologists assessed and fitted each beneficiary with the donated hearing aids, extending beyond mere fittings to include follow-up support that enhances long-term care.
“Hearing health should not only be a privilege for the affluent,” noted Mr. Pawar. “Alongside Hearing Help and Suryoday Foundation, we have taken a significant step in Jammu, helping 75 individuals reintegrate into family life, enhance workplace communication, and participate in their communities.”
“Every day in Jammu, we prioritize community service, and today’s beneficiaries exemplify the essence of this center,” said Mr. Zargar. “Our commitment extends beyond today’s event; we will ensure that each beneficiary receives continued support while also engaging in awareness initiatives throughout Jammu and beyond.”
This collaborative effort by WS Audiology and Hearing Help aims not only to provide immediate assistance but also to motivate residents of Jammu & Kashmir to prioritize their hearing health and seek timely interventions, showcasing the profound impact that suitable hearing solutions can have on quality of life.
